Maple Fire provides annual backflow preventer inspection, testing and certification based on the manufacturer and jurisdictional requirements for all applications, including potable water, private fire service mains and irrigation systems.

Maple Fire is a full-service, non-proprietary fire alarm inspection, maintenance, installation, and monitoring company.

Our services include inspection and testing the backflow device, flushing the assembly, verifying the proper function of the reduced pressure zone or double detector check device, tagging for the current year and reporting any repairs that may be indicated.

A backflow system must be tested and certified annually. The exact requirements for backflow preventers can vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. During this test, water is manipulated through the device to make sure that check valves close and that relief valves open. Since backflow preventers are mechanical devices with metal, plastic, and rubber parts that are under constant water pressure, they are susceptible to failure and need replacement or repair. In some cases, full replacement of the device or assembly will be necessary to uphold the integrity of our water supply. Maple Fire’s experience and knowledge of AHJ requirements allow us to keep you in compliance, no matter your location.
